Overview
CueRig is operated by Rift Motion Co. This Privacy Policy applies to the CueRig apps for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, the CueRig website, and support communications. CueRig does not currently use advertising SDKs, sell personal information, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
Your show files and audio stay under your control. If you enable CueRig Cloud, CueRig privately stores the material needed to sync your library and prepare active sets across your devices. CueRig does not sell your information or use your audio to train artificial-intelligence models.
Information CueRig handles
App content and settings
CueRig stores the content you create, including song titles, artists, keys, tempos, time signatures, setlists, cues, pad assignments, mixer and routing choices, MIDI mappings, clip edits, fades, automation, and app preferences. This information is stored locally on your device. If you turn on iCloud metadata sync, eligible lightweight library and settings data is also synced through your Apple iCloud account. If you sign in to CueRig Cloud, eligible project metadata is stored in CueRig Cloud so it can stay consistent across supported devices. CueRig Cloud also stores a random app-specific device identifier and a generic platform label to coordinate sync; this is not an advertising identifier.
Imported and recorded audio
Tracks and pads you import are stored locally in CueRig’s app storage unless you export or move them. On Mac, CueRig accesses the microphone or selected audio input only when you choose to record a track. If you enable CueRig Cloud, CueRig uploads required stems, pads, and recordings to private Cloudflare object storage so they can sync to your devices. CueRig automatically downloads the active set for offline playback; on iPhone and iPad those downloads may continue in the background. Cloud audio is not published at a public URL.
CueRig Cloud account
CueRig Cloud uses Sign in with Apple. CueRig receives an Apple identity token to authenticate you and stores a one-way hash of Apple’s account-specific identifier rather than the identifier itself. CueRig stores an opaque session token in your device Keychain, along with your cloud plan, storage quota and usage, library revision, media manifests, and upload state.
Purchases
Apple processes CueRig Pro purchases and subscriptions. CueRig receives signed product, transaction, expiration, renewal, revocation, and entitlement information needed to unlock features and securely assign the correct cloud-storage allowance. CueRig does not receive your full payment-card details.
Support communications
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, message, device details, screenshots, or diagnostic context. The website support form opens your email app so you can review the message before sending it.
Website delivery
CueRig’s site and CueRig Cloud service use Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical request information such as IP address, browser and device details, routing information, and security logs to deliver and protect the services. CueRig does not currently place advertising or analytics cookies on the site.
MIDI
MIDI device names, mappings, and messages are used locally to control CueRig or external music equipment. CueRig does not upload MIDI performance messages to a CueRig-operated server.
How information is used
Information is used to run playback and performance features, preserve and sync your library, prepare active sets for offline use, verify purchases and storage allowances, prevent unauthorized access or quota abuse, respond to support requests, maintain reliability and security, and comply with law. CueRig does not use your imported or recorded audio to train artificial-intelligence models.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
- Local app data: delete songs, setlists, recordings, and imported files in CueRig where controls are available, or remove the app and its local data through your device.
- CueRig Cloud: sign out to stop cloud activity on a device. Use “Delete CueRig Cloud Account” in Settings to permanently delete the cloud account, synced metadata, and uploaded audio. Deleting a CueRig Cloud account does not cancel an App Store subscription, which is managed separately through Apple.
- Offline files: CueRig keeps active-set media locally for reliable playback and may remove unpinned cached media when it is no longer needed. Removing the app also removes its local cache from that device.
- iCloud: turn off CueRig iCloud metadata sync in Settings. You can manage iCloud data through Apple’s iCloud controls.
- Microphone: manage CueRig’s microphone permission in system Privacy & Security settings.
- Support: ask us to delete a support conversation by emailing the address below. We retain support records only as reasonably needed to respond, maintain service history, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.
Subscription transaction and service-security records may be retained where reasonably necessary for billing integrity, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution, even after cloud content is deleted.
Security, children, and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information involved, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. CueRig is not directed to children under 13. Apple, Cloudflare, and email providers may process information in countries other than your own under their respective terms and safeguards.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as CueRig changes. The effective date above will identify the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website, or another appropriate channel.
