Agreement and eligibility
CueRig is operated by Rift Motion Co. By downloading, purchasing, or using CueRig, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use CueRig. You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter this agreement; if you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must approve your use.
App license
CueRig is licensed, not sold. Apps obtained through Apple’s App Store are also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms supplement that license. If there is a conflict, mandatory Apple or platform terms control to the extent required.
Subject to these terms, CueRig grants you a personal, limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use the app on supported devices associated with your account.
CueRig Pro subscriptions
CueRig may offer monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple. The price, billing period, included features, cloud-storage allowance, and any trial are shown before purchase. Available tiers may include 10 GB or 100 GB of CueRig Cloud storage. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, the subscription renews automatically and Apple charges the applicable renewal price.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings. Apple handles billing and refund requests under its policies. Canceling stops future renewal but normally does not remove access before the paid period ends. Restoring purchases requires the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
Your music and content
You retain ownership of songs, recordings, tracks, pads, cues, MIDI data, and other content you add to CueRig. You are responsible for having all permissions and licenses needed to import, record, reproduce, perform, transmit, or otherwise use that content. CueRig does not grant rights to copyrighted music, master recordings, lyrics, trademarks, or other third-party material.
Do not use CueRig to violate law, bypass security, interfere with services or devices, distribute malware, infringe rights, or access systems or data without permission.
Live performance and backups
Live audio depends on your device, operating system, interfaces, cables, routing, storage, permissions, MIDI hardware, and source files. Keep an appropriate backup plan for important performances.
CueRig is a creative and performance tool, not an emergency, medical, safety, or life-support system. We do not guarantee that playback, sync, recording, cues, metronome timing, or external control will be uninterrupted or error-free in every hardware and venue configuration.
Cloud storage, third-party services, and availability
If you enable CueRig Cloud, you grant CueRig the limited permission needed to host, copy, transmit, process, and download your content solely to provide sync, storage, backup, and offline-set preparation. You remain responsible for keeping appropriate backups. Storage is subject to the allowance shown for your subscription, and uploads may pause when that allowance is reached.
Features may rely on Apple services, including Sign in with Apple, the App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, device permissions, background transfers, and operating-system frameworks, as well as Cloudflare service hosting and user-selected email providers. Their separate terms and availability apply. CueRig may add, update, suspend, or retire features as the product evolves, while honoring applicable law and active paid access obligations.
Intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability
CueRig’s software, design, branding, website, and original materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for your content and rights expressly granted above, no rights are transferred to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CueRig is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly stated here. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CueRig and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use or inability to use CueRig. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies, or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
You may stop using CueRig at any time. Access may be suspended or terminated for material violation of these terms, subject to applicable consumer and platform rules. Applicable law governs these terms without limiting mandatory consumer protections available where you live.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as CueRig changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website, or another appropriate channel. Questions: hello@cuerig.com.
